America in the Rough. Are You Ready?

 WEE DOGGIES there are some hardcore miscreants on Facebook! Maybe you knew that. They have really come out in force after the frequent ICE murders of immigrants. Those killings are really gaining in popularity even when they entail the murders of white, pretty obvious Americans like Alex Pretti and Renee Good. The maga are rationalizing their deaths just as they do those of the immigrants they have been trained to hate so much. We've been fearing a shootin' war, but it has already been here for a while. Well, it's always been here since the founding of the nation. It's just now social medially acceptable to kill white people. 

Of all the tragic thinking humans can conjure up in their oft-feeble minds, the notion that it is acceptable to take a person's life for the possible commission of a misdemeanor is most obscene. If you are in the know, you know that entering the US *illegally* is a misdemeanor. It's a civil offense, not criminal. You have to pay a fine like a parking ticket. You can be deported. In recent times you could get shipped out of the country after getting picked up, but much of the time local cops just didn't want to go to the trouble of handing over these *illegals* to Immigration and I don't think Immigration wanted to be troubled either, unless they decided to go to the trouble on their own. In the late 70's I was tending bar in a nice steakhouse run by my father-in-law to be, Nick. For years Nick had run another popular place down the street. About once-a-year Immigration would raid the old place and we'd then get a heads up about that and hopefully have time to hide our Mexicans. It struck me as a nuisance really; a government agency earning its keep, going through the motions when necessary, to justify their existence. Nobody really cared back then. Not customers, cops or the people who wrote letters to the editors. In the Chicago suburbs we needed busboys and dishwashers and out west and on farms they needed field hands. Nobody considered killing these hardworking people. Until now. 

Trump is stupid; so is maga. We know that. Your average maga's idea of linear thinking looks like Trump's signature. They can easily be led to extrapolating *illegal* immigration to an invasion of foreigners bent on taking over the country. With that, they'll sign on to believing that these illegals are voting with the help of democrats (who are really communists, if you want to know the truth) and also bent on taking over the country for the purpose of destroying it. Why? Because that's the way they are! Do your own research!

The only time immigration has been a danger to the folks here was from the 1600's on, and only for a few hundred years until white, European immigrants all but wiped out the natives while took over. 

Huh. I guess there is a precedent. 

Oddly enough, that history doesn't get brought up often in the current immigration debate because it's kind of a confession of guilt on the parts of white Americans. And don't get them started on how black people came to this country! Hoo Boy- that's a can of worms! A can that is worth opening though because, just as indigenous natives were viewed as less than human, so were blacks. Now, brown people are, as well as clear-thinking, educated white people are as well. That really escalated!

It's just as wrong when hateful white people denigrate red, black or brown skinned folks, but it's extra weird when they denigrate and want to kill people who look just like them. How do you tell the enemy apart when they look just like you? Uniforms, I guess. We went through this in our revolution, our civil war and a couple wars in Europe. Uniforms help to separate the white people, so you know who needs killing. Here in 2026, we haven't sorted out all the uniforms yet. Well, not completely. ICE is dressed as if they were cosplaying patriots trying to overturn a lost election, maga wears red hats and befuddled faces, and us libs dress for the weather. We are sneaky that way. Clothes do make the man or woman. 

Will there be a civil war? Probably. The elites don't care. They won't be fighting it. Fundamentally, they want to thin the herd and they know that, when there's blood in the streets, it's a good time to buy real estate.  If you think about how little you might think about people in your town or the next state over, the elites think less about you. You may get points for your white privilege, but those points are wiped off the board if you are thinking good thoughts about your neighbors of different persuasions. They see you as picking the wrong side. Not all maga think pigmented folks should be killed, but the day ain't over yet. Decency and religious ideals usually go out the window when you are deemed a collaborateur and you can become the hunted. Just like that. 

Will we have midterms? Probably. Stupid as he is, Trump knows he'll get trounced. He has no shame (you've seen him dance) and all his life has been setting the stage for him being cheated whenever he loses, which is a lot. He most likely prefers to let the midterms happen to facilitate his self-fulfilling prophecy. An "I told you so!" His people lose, that in itself *proves* he was cheated and, being in power, gives him the right to react badly for it was all a democrat communist plot to cheat him out of the presidency, just as he predicted. How about that? 

It will get ugly because he is ugly. Ugly people still revere him. Some always will. The people who have been indoctrinated against logic, reason and understanding to reject common sense and decency, will react badly. They'll take his loss and future punishment personally. That was his idea all along. We can't help that. We have to play it as it lays. We don't have caddies to move the ball for us. We have to find our own balls.
