The List

 It is no longer cute how everything Trump does in his invasion of America is treated as a distraction from the Epstein Files. The reality is, the Epstein Files are a distraction from everything Trump is doing in his invasion of America. 

Nothing more will be done about the Epstein files. Everything has already been done. He's dead. She went to prison (for now...). No child-fuckers have been- or will be- arrested. 

America- you are putting all your rotten eggs in one deplorable basket. Stop it. 

This is a country where the judicial system- by many accounts the greatest in the world- has turned its back on the victims with one move of the goal posts after another. Victim testimony, which generally is damning evidence in criminal trials, doesn't seem to count for much in civil actions, or in any kind of leadup to criminal actions when the wealthy and powerful are involved. It turns out that you have to have a list. Not just any list- THE list. Geez, without that you are as fucked as when the real estate developer pinned you down on the bed and fucked you. 

And this was justice before Trump got his megalomania degree from the United States Supreme Court and the *voting public*. Maybe a little help from his friends too. 

There may be some gnashing of teeth in the concentration camps about The Epstein Files. We are certainly going to miss our internet, podcasts and anti-social media while we slave away in TRUMP CAMPS, so if there's any free time, we may chat. Who knows. We won't know until we get there. 

Let's not get there though. There is fascism afoot. The whole country is a powder keg that could be set off at any time. You watch these videos of *ICE* thugs on the street dealing poorly with Americans and you know we are bullets away from catastrophe. In the court of republican opinion (currently the highest court in the land) it will not matter whom did what to whom. They start killing us and that will be justification for killing us. These people, you may have noticed, do not have empathy for victims. I bet they got a list though, and you and I are on it. They surely have that list.

Molehills On the Battlefield

An odd exchange with a follower earlier. To another poster I added to his complaint about the recent trend of side-by-side reaction videos They are dumb and pretty much unnecessary. My addition was that I didn't like the ones where someone is telling a joke, and on the other side of the screen is a clip of someone laughing outrageously. Why? And perhaps worse, the split screen is used to tell a story, and the other side is some inexplicable B-roll of some unrelated product being made. Again- why? Are these first world problems? Yes. But I wasn't crying or praying to Trump that these 'creators' be deported to a Sudanese prison. I was just kinda bitching. Is that wrong? To one follower, it was! Flipping the Script

 When it comes to TV and movies, I don't like to know how the sausage is made. But full disclosure, I find it hard to resist the inside info when it comes to "The Sopranos". As luck would have it, there are a bazillion YouTubes about all things Soprano.  It's kinda crazy to me that people that people spend so much time gossiping about a fictional show. "Why did this happen? Why that? How 'bout this theory?"  Shit like that. My first thought is always, ask the writer. It's their story. It's not ours to add anything to it. It's not "The Bible", after all.  Story arcs are different though. I've been seeing a lot of a particular arc in The Sopranos that always befuddled me.
