What Makes Them Tick?

 One of my all-time favorite posters on Bluesky (she finds the best stuff) posted a link about a guy in France who interviewed 200 women for a job for the sole purpose of giving them a drug to make them wet their pants. This was his raison de vivre. I didn't read the article (a paywall) but I got the gist of it. 

Why are people so fucking weird? What happens to them in life that makes them that way? I presume this guy got some sort of sexual pleasure out of this. But fucking why? Who writes this shitshow called life?

I have long been curious about people's motivations. What makes them tick and why do they tock off from the rest of us? They probably don't know themselves and long since gave up on trying to figure it out. They just roll with it until it rolls over them as I assume it did with this Jaque de Peepee. Understanding people's foibles isn't to endorse or defend them, just explain them, good, bad or ugly. Like people who punch down on the homeless probably have it in the back of their mind that, there but for the grace of God go I, but to stay ahead of God on that, they motivate themselves to not let that happen to them, by mocking the unhoused and condemning them. Or they are just assholes. Who knows? Sometimes it is as simple as that.

Take the Billionaire Boys Club that was Epstein Island. Why 12- to 15-year-old girls? You have billions of dollars to buy this, that and the other things in life and that certainly can include beautiful women, but the island focus was decidedly on the youngest of teen girls. In my estimation they were slaves. They did not know what they were getting into. Just like Mariah from the other day's post here, they were duped into thinking it was one thing and discovered too late that it was another, and their young minds didn't know how to process a way out of it. Having been 14 once myself, I totally get that. Sometimes you just freeze. Ya know, it's one thing to be the hero in your own story, but it is excruciatingly disingenuous to presume to be the hero in some other person's story. It's like the current trope about slavery or the holocaust and asking people what they would have done if alive in those events. The answer is, exactly what you are doing now- nothing. 

People tend to be incredulous about the Jews getting into the boxcars in Germany. "Why would they do that??!! I wouldn't!" Well, you don't know that until get there. Putting aside that the Jews were duped into believing that they were merely being relocated "for their own good", even when it did become clear what the Nazis were up to, it is human nature to go along with what is happening just so you can survive another day. It's also easy for even adults to disbelieve what their own eyes are seeing. You don't expect the worst from people, so when it happens it takes time to fathom that, yes, the unimaginable really is happening. Duplicity almost always leads up to these things because the predators want willing victims. It makes it easier for them. 

Nineteen-year-old Mariah thinking she's getting a nice modeling gig, or a troubled 14-year-old girl thinking she's being trained in massage therapy as a career is very understandable to me. When you lack maturity and sophistication, you are a mark for predators. Old people who should know better, regularly fall for scams like the all-too common one where a grandchild calls and says they are in jail and a little voice that could be their grandson, "Charlie" tells them they need to be bailed out. Happens every day. Well, you wouldn't fall for that, would you? Maybe not now, but what about when you are 75? We never know how vulnerable we are until we get there. 

I wonder if these billionaire man-children involved with Epstein weren't rewriting their youth. They all seem like rich dorks to me who were scared of 14-year-old girls back in their day. Gates. Chomsky. Trump. Dershowitz. Epstein himself. This Ferrerman was scared of 14-year-old girls when I was 14! I got over it though as the girls and I both aged out of our youthful fears of each other. I seriously wonder if these assholes are so stuck in their past insecurity with women that they now seek to conquer them. What little I've seen of the emails the regime allows us to see really shows how immature these fuckers are. They talk to Epstein in juvenile code about their successes with these girls as if they had actually accomplished something, with these children, who were a literal captive audience. They also express their love and devotion to him in a practically homoerratic [sic.] manner, for providing these girls to them. They viewed him as a God on earth of money and *women*. It's incredible and we only know a fraction of it. 

So, I dunno. Mightcould just be that their dicks are so small that they can't satisfy an adult woman, so they go about sex with girls that they don't even care about pleasing. According to Stormy Daniels, that tracks with Trump. Probably true of all the suspects. 

We may never know. This regime is closely guarding their secrets. Never before has so much effort gone into protecting predators, as if they were the victims. I could analyze this until Hell freezes over and never 'get' it. Just assholes, I guess. That will have to do for now.
