Mock 'em Block 'em Robots

 A few years back, I was given a 7-day stint in Facebook jail for saying in a comment that a person was exhibiting "feeble-minded thinking". FB considered that "bullying". Really. 

This morning, some jagoff I wasn't even posting with told me that I was an "asshole" and that I could "fuck off". Really. 

There are no sanctions for foul language, nor for the bullying of the feeble-minded. That all changed in or about December of 2024 after Trump somehow got elected again. Zuckerberg and other antisocial media moguls met with Trump, and I guess, he gave them the OK to let anything go in the comments sections. I don't think you can threaten anyone's life, but I'm not sure about that. I've never done that anyway. Watched too many lawyer and cop shows all my life to get involved in that nonsense. Plus, so far, anyone who has ever intimated violence towards me online has punked out. The Ferrerman home is well defended. It would be a dumb thing to do. Them shows again.

Anyways, I know you can't change any feeble maga minds on the internet. I get that. But winning hearts and minds of maga has never been my intent. It can't be done. That, I really get. You can talk sense to these motherfuckers nine ways from Sunday and never get through to them. So, I mock and block and, when necessary, I make well-crafted, lucid posts countering their bullshit. But I don't do this for them. I do it for my people.

It's a great, big scary world out there. The battle has long since shifted from left v. right to right v. wrong. This precedes Trump, BTW. He didn't bring about this vitriol and hate. It brought him. It made him possible. He's always complaining about not getting credit. He can add this to his ever-growing list of slights. Trump existed before all this, and it was inevitable that someone would reinvent him. If, after eight years of Barack Obama the democrats had run a man in 2016, Trump would never have been president. You can look it up; Trump has never defeated a man for the presidency. Now, before I digress too much, I voted for both Hillary and Kamala and I have zero regrets. Either one would have been an excellent POTUS. Neither deserves blame for losing. The United States is a nation of misogynist assholes. Come on now- we weren't ready for a female president after two and a half centuries, but we were ready for a feeble-minded asshole child rapist? Misogynist assholes, indeed. 

So, I post my good, bad and ugly for the good people of the US and the world. I want them to know that they are not alone. There are good posters out there who know how to use spellcheck and can craft good sentences while getting rational thoughts out there to counter the maga assholes. I'm just one of them. I just happen to be pretty fucking good at it. Let's face it; defeating maga on the internet is like going on a hike with a maga and encountering a bear. You only have to be just a little faster than them. It's not hard. I just also enjoy making it look easy because I can. 😀

      Correction: It is a service I perform professionally for free! I have to keep my amateur standing intact per NCAA guidelines in case this ever becomes an Olympic sport. Those Soros checks are tempting though...

An odd exchange with a follower earlier. To another poster I added to his complaint about the recent trend of side-by-side reaction videos They are dumb and pretty much unnecessary. Her Soft Underbelly Exposed

One of the better interviewers you'll see on YouTube is Mark Laita of the "Soft, White Underbelly" channel. It's my understanding he is primarily a photographer whose interest has always been photographing the unseen segments of society- the street people, prostitutes, criminals and kinda freaks of life, that we generally ignore. Maybe it's all in the editing, but his success seems to be in letting his subjects talk without too much prompting from him. It's their story.  This episode was with a porn star- Addison Vodka. Well, that's what she goes by. Though I have seen my share of porn, I'm not on a first or last name basis with most of these people.  Had a guy at the bar one day ask me what I liked to do in my spare time. You get that a lot tending bar. Some are blunter, asking what your real job  is because bartending at any age can't possibly be anybody's real job. That's what he was getting at. So, I told him I like to write. He asked if I had ever been published, and no, I had not. "Well, you're not a writer then", he declared. Oh. Thanks for clearing that up, asshole. How about you?
