Fuck the Patriarchy
Let's talk about the patriarchy. Not just us fellas- you gals can participate too. It's OK. MISTER Ferrerman said you could...
Something I read or saw yesterday told me that men hate women and I'm pretty sure (whoever it was) it was a man making this statement. It wasn't being said in an angry, Andrew Tate frame of mind, but rather, a plain-talking, "let's face it" manner. It wasn't this person's confession, just his observation. Pretty blunt.
Well, I don't like to speak in absolutes about anything, but I am somewhat of A Noted Observer in life, so I gave this some further thought. To be ferrer, it's something I've often thought of throughout my life, so I had a head start. It may well be true.
In relation to Trump and the Epstein Files, about the activities of the Epstein class, we have learned from those files that the wealthiest, most successful amongst us treat women as cum receptacles, necessary only as sexual objects and eye candy. Those emails have shown a boy's club of elites exists throughout the world. These men behave like boys, regardless of age and education. They never seem to advance beyond the mental age of ten or twelve. At that age, girls are a mystery. A boy is beginning to know that there is something different and desirable about them. That's when fear sets in. Mary, that you thought was cool since kindergarten, might skip you when the Valentines are passed about in class. Or she turns you down at a school dance. That shit hurts and confuses a boy. It may well be intentional. Who knows what's going on in Mary's mind at that age, at any age? The sociologists always say that "girls mature faster than boys" and that may be true, but at that age, does it matter? I'm not trying to write it off as "kid's stuff", because I'm trying to say that it goes on to be adult stuff too. Us boys learn early on that girls can hurt us in a way that no boy can, and that it's deeper and longer lasting than any cut by one of our own.
The Epstein Files have revealed this boy's club of men to be sexual predators. This is never a good thing at any station in life, but here the focus was on the prey being young teen girls. These are old men, most probably with families that included daughters. Men that should know better, but likely never cared. Suddenly, it was "OK" to covet young girls because the man who controlled them all- Epstein- was a man they admired not only for his *skill* in acquiring *women*, but for his skill in acquiring money, which was every bit as important to them. They saw him as *brilliant* and a *cool guy*, perhaps a better man than they were. He had it all, and he shared! Well, for a price.
This is where the patriarchy comes in. It isn't just about ready sex with otherwise unattainable girls and women. It's about being with the boys. The cool guys. Talking about sports, money and chicks. Just the fellas. The "He-man Woman-haters Club". Most all of us guys do that, regardless of our jobs. If it's just the guys sitting around drinking coffee at breaktime, or beers after work, we're talking about girls. We are probably also lying. It's easier to talk about girls with the boys than it would be with girls, because whether we own up to it or not, with the boys we all have that shared experience of rejection by girls, that can only be coped with by talking shit with the fellas.
The patriarchy is a seat at the table, wherever that table is, and it doesn't just exclude women, it excludes whoever isn't invited- or didn't show up. As sure as I'm typing here, I promise you that if you aren't at the table, you are being talked about. Thing is, that table could be women talking about men, or it could be blacks talking about whites, just as easily. However- oh yes- the biggest table is white males talking about women and/or blacks. No doubt about it. Lots of tables on the planet, but the white male one is THE head table.
Epstein's table was one of the few that had a woman- Ghislane Maxwell- with a seat at it. She also preyed upon young girls, so the perception likely was that she earned her seat. She was one of the boys. She raped girls too. She shared bonafides with the boys. She was one of them.
Part and parcel of a table is not just inclusion, but exclusion. You can't have one without the other. This is why white republican males hate DEI so much. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion upset the table. They are completely wrong about the goal of DEI and I'm pretty sure that wrongness is on purpose as all things they are wrong about are. They tend to go to ridiculous extrapolations about things that scare them. This was discussed at length at my Ferrerman only Superbowl party last night. You should have been there! But you weren't invited. Oops! Sorry.
Anyway, the idea of exclusion is simply to keep those different from you from getting a chance to surpass you in life. They don't want your input, because they are pretty damn sure it would be "more of us, less of you". They are probably right about that. Everybody wants to rule the world, and they are most comfortable with sharing it with those that look like them and have the same gender equipment. If you look around the table and see your own skin and gender represented, it's not hard to believe that that was some God's intention all along. That's human nature. It's Biblical. It's one of those things that, since it has been this way for so long, it must be the way it is supposed to be! If God not be for us, who could be against us? Funny thing about that, when the Bible was first written, it sure as fuck wasn't white men writing it! I'm not even sure they had been invented yet. But history is written by the winners, and somehow, white males commandeered their own table and began to rule the world. White men interpreted the Bible and made it their own story. The rest is history. And notice, ladies, that the word is his-story, not her-story. It musta been fate.
So, should women rule the world? Would we be better off if women ran things? I often hear that would be the case. The answer is "maybe". Or a more detailed answer might be "Maybe- but we'll never know in our lifetimes". Patriarchy or matriarchy, these things don't happen overnight. It takes a long time to gain traction. Those seated at the table know this. They may be there, but they are not comfortable. They know why.
And what woman could rule the world? I've heard that "any woman" could do a better job! Really? Don't you know that Kristi Noem is a woman? Pam Bondi, Megyn Kelly, the aforementioned Maxwell, my exes, Erika Kirk and various *Karen's* are all women as well. And if you think I'm picking on maga women, it's only because I am. Liberal women would most definitely be better choices. I mean, liberal men are. No gender is perfect, but being of sound, liberal mind is a very good start regardless of genitalia.
Thinking like a man, a generic, 'any man', is not a good way to go through life. This is why I chose to be a Ferrerman. It has been a struggle for sure! I could tell you stories! In fact, if you read back, I have! I'm not putting me on a pedestal here. They throw rocks at you if you do that. I'm simply better than most men because I try to keep an open mind about people and life in general. I like women who do this as well. Humanity is very tribal and sometimes you are stuck in your tribe, not only because they won't let you go, but because other tribes won't let you in. That is what it is. Just don't let your mind get stuck. There is no way out if you do.
Yeah, it's not necessarily about gender rather than an ideology. That's some good, insight, Ferrerman.
ReplyDeleteOh, I see! "Not bad- for a FERRERMAN!" Why, I oughta- thank you for that, Maggie. :)
