In Heaven There Ain't No Facebook, that's why We're Posting Here

Well, no World Series for me. My feud with YouTube TV finally ended. You may recall that to quit them, I had to get a new debit card, one that they couldn't draw the monthly fee from. It was an odd but necessary measure, recommended by my bank. I don't want to get into the rigmarole of how hard YT makes it hard to quit. Suffice to say, they make it hard, so you'll give up and continue to pay $82 bucks a month. If my math is correct, if they have one million subscribers, that's $82 million a month. Would they miss my $82 dollars a month? Goddamn right they would! Don't you know rich people? What's wrong with you??!! They are greedy ass-munchers, ya know. 

Anyways, I'm instead watching "Escape from Sobibor" a 1987 film about an escape from the Sobibor concentration camp in 1943, starring Alan Arkin and Rutger Hauer. Obviously, any film about a concentration camp is going to be depressing, but past being prologue, we must be informed. 

That is the key. You can't say, "It can't happen here" or that it won't because we're better than that. You just have to watch the news now and scroll social media to know that we are not better than that. We are probably worse. That remains to be seen. 

The other day on Facebook on a post about Hakeem Jefferies, a guy posted, "Hakeem? Is he an illegal immigrant by chance?" That passes for clever discourse amongst republican assholes these days. That didn't bother me, but the cocksuckers last name was "Cosby". Well, I couldn't pass that up! So, I cooly replied, "Judging people by their name? I hope you are not a bartender."

That is clever discourse amongst Ferrermen. 

This motherfucker replied back that he would drug and rape my daughter. I don't have the exact verbiage because (after I reported) Facebook did delete the post. It was the least they could do and probably the most as well. You see, Facebook is like Shingles and Shingles doesn't care. I also don't have a daughter, but ya know, it's the thought that counts. That is republicans today though. They didn't come by this violence and vitriol overnight. They have been trained like this since Reagan, and since Fox news began. Before that they were just assholes as were found in everyday life since time began. Now, with Trump, they are assholes with agency. Assholes who- for now- seem to have the backing of the once proud United States government. 

Exchanges like that on the internet happen perhaps a million times a day. Maybe more. I don't know. I can't be everywhere. I'm just one Ferrerman. I post on Facebook with my real name. This is probably stupid, but these days, do you really think "they" don't know who you really are? 

People like that fucking Cosby mope are a dime a dozen, but there are millions of them. Perhaps as many as 77 million, which is, curiously enough, the rough number of Trump voters at the last official counting November of last year. Fancy that. Might be lower. It's flexible, I think. A lot of more mainstream republicans have left Trump this year, recognizing his steady descent into total lunacy. People that may have been somewhat excited at the notion of permanent republican rule, have perhaps realized that he- and no one on his team- is the person that should do it. I could have told them that in 2016. But I digress.

One thing that struck me about the concentration camps is that they were white people enslaving white people. This, of course, was a religious thing. The white, German Christians versus the white, European Jews. A struggle as old as the hills. It is one that can only be resolved in the afterlife. Never on earth. Christian, Jew, Muslim, Scientologist, Mormon- whatever- when you die and leave this earth for the hereafter, the big surprise is that, no, your religion was not the one true religion. NONE OF THEM ARE! Fucking stupids! Long story short, life was supposed (I believe) to be about peace, love and being a good person. That's probably oversimplification and I'm guessing the powers that be up there knew full well after observing the earth for so long, that putting babies here to experience peace and love was a really tall order and a lot of pressure on the individuals. So, I think you get graded on a curve. Like, did you even try to be a good person? Even a little? I don't want to get mired in religion, so I'm going to chuck myself in the shallow waters before I get too deep. Just suffice to say that a lot of motherfuckers are going to be very surprised when they get to the great beyond.

Back here on earth though, I think we are heading towards a new holocaust, one that isn't Jewish-centric though. I'm sure they will be included because there are Christians backing Trump's play here and in business you have to make concessions sometimes with partners. However, the main focus of this impending purge seems to be not religious differences, but political ones. That's nothing new, but it's disconcerting to this Ferrerman because this Ferrerman picked a bad time in life to still be a democrat. Oops. You see, it turns out we are vermin. Commies. Even Hamas. Who knew? Steven Miller knew. And he told Trump and Trump told the media (both social and mainstream) and so on and so on. Well, that's some unhappy horseshit. I would say that, wouldn't I? OH- and we're "antifa"! Who knew it was a bad thing to be against fascism? In this mixed up, jumbled up, shook up, dystrumpian world, the fascists won't come out and admit they are fascists, but they know their enemy is against them. 

Once again, the world we live in is looking at work and death camps. Like that has ever worked out for the perpetrators. As unimportant as this blog is, it is sedition. Fascists hate that. Everything I ever posted on Facebook, Twitter or Bluesky can and will be used against me. Fuck. Make me important, will ya? The white rapey Cosby will probably be a guard in my camp. Won't that be kismet. We'll be judged here by the company we don't keep after all.
