Ours Is Not to reason Why

We should all be curious about this Kirk assassination. If Ted Lasso taught us anything in that one clip I saw of that show of the same name I never watched, it's "Be curious". It may be still early in the investigation, but there are already red flags to ponder.

Why'd the kid walk- with a limp- to the scene? He had a nice Dodge Challenger. That would make for a cool getaway car if one was needing to get away. Where was the rifle? The speculation that it was stashed down his pantleg (and thus the limp) is comical. It's about a 44" long weapon. That's nearly 4 feet. It doesn't easily break down like some rifles do, so no, it wasn't in the backpack. And again, why the limp that went away when he was shown coming up the stairs to the roof, sans rifle? Once on the roof, assuming he takes and makes THE shot, when he flees, why doesn't he take the rifle with him? I could see a killer leaving the gun behind because he prepped for the kill by wearing gloves and using a throwaway, untraceable gun, and leaving it because it is now a burden to him. A man has just been shot. You don't want to be seen toting a rifle. Your mission then is to get away by blending into the scene. Running is fine. There had just been a shooting. You are someone just getting to safety.

So, how did the rifle get from the roof to the nearby woods? Pretty clear on the video of him jumping off the roof that he didn't have it with him as he jumped and scampered off (without a limp) to the woods. That's all just odd, that doesn't add up to even. Not with simple math.

With assassinations and most mob hits, it really doesn't matter much who pulled the trigger. The question should always be who gave the order. Who wanted this done. Who killed Jimmy Hoffa? Who cares? The person or persons who ordered it done.

Who was Charlie Kirk? Most of America probably didn't know of him until he died. Unless you are on Twitter or Bluesky- and the vast majority of Americans are not, you probably knew nothing about him. If you are not involved in the Fantasy Politics Leagues that are social media and cable news, you just don't care until something like this happens, and then you get a little curious.

To me Kirk was just another player in the politics game. Important? Not to me. just another guy with bad takes and a podcast (maybe? I don't know). Now we are hearing how smart he was for taking the debate to college campuses and boldly debating detractors. Seemed to me that he usually got his red political hat handed to him by some kids better prepared than him Like that young wunderkind, Dean Withers, who he refused to debate one on one ever again. (That kid, BTW, is pretty good. But most debates with republicans come down to right versus wrong. If, like Charlie, you contend that 'gays should be stoned to death', you are not going to win in an open debate with rational people because murdering people is wrong. Not very defensible in the court of public opinion.)

Thus, Charlie Kirk was a big fish in the small, scummy pond of maga politics, That's a crowded field. Immediately after his death, it seemed he was elevated to greatness though. He was important enough to be assassinated! I'm not that important. You probably aren't either. We're not martyr material. Some people have martyrdom thrust upon them. That is what I think happened here. Maybe he was worth more dead than alive to someone. The question is who.

Well, we will probably never know. This is a country that can't solve the JFK assassination or even release the Epstein Files. We are on a need-to-know basis, and we don't need to know, I guess. We just have to play along and watch the show.
