Nothing Exceeds Like Excess

 Read an interesting piece from the Yale Review this morning. It was a little over my head, but I'm kinda tall and I think I grasped the gist of it. That gist is this new world disorder is out of our control. There's not a fucking thing we can do about it. We can't litigate it in the courts or congress. There is no Barack Obama on earth that could save us. Kamala Harris could not stop it, so don't blame her. Jesus Christ himself- if he had all the power purported in The Bible- could not turn the tables on it in any temple on earth. Heaven, maybe. But that's not really a viable hope here. Forget I even mentioned it.

I hope that worked. I'm a Luddite and it's been ages since I linked anything here. It's a rather intense read and my old ass trudged through it, and I wouldn't fault you if yours didn't. My role here is to translate what I think I know into more palatable language for us commoners. Wish me luck! 

These billionaires and tech bros behind Trump are some serious, big-picture motherfuckers! Forget him. He's the fucking idiot we all know he is. Trump is the bitchtitular face of the 4th Reich that we cannot destroy. He's not the Reich itself. The frontman. I've been saying this for forever. The patsy. He gets credit for destroying America and democracy, but he can do it only because these other men set him in place to do it. To paraphrase Matt Hooper in "Jaws", "That was no voting accident." 

We've covered all that. Trump's just a wind-up toy. "Go out there and be yourself" they cheerfully tell him "you are the best!" That's all he needs to hear. He has ZERO shame in his game. Even if someone told him he was being played for an idiot, he would not believe it. That's our Biff.

What the real billionaires and smart guys know, is not only the money, but the precious metals and other shiny objects that are the future of world dominance. Oil too. That's always a player. Oil is like Social Security; we've been running out of both since the 70's, but they always find more. Imagine that. And crypto. Whatever the fuck that is. As the US dollar weakens because of this, that and the other things that they gauge the value of imaginary currency on, our rich people get scared. They fear losing billions, which is a serious bump in the road when one is trying to make trillions. We worry about groceries and rent. Their concerns are evidently more serious than that. This is big time and so are they. We are just often in the way. They'll figure that out too. A lot of these guys favor a universal basic income because they recognize that the way things are changing in their world, the familiar 9-5 workaday world that we know isn't going to be around much longer thanks to the world they created. AI- whatever the fuck that's all about. They will need people to do things. Thus, the basic income. The republican plan seems to be kill one third, incarcerate one third, and make the other third act right- or else. Well, I got news for them. They aren't actually running shit. They too are minions for the real powers that be. Stupid fucks. They don't know it.

So, what do we the people do? We resist. Resistance may be futile- and it is- but it's probably what us humans were designed to do whether there is a God or not. Above all else, live. Fuck. Drink. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. We are the ones who did all the fighting and dying to get us this far in the first place. We love, cry and laugh- not them. They make money. That's it. Whereas we may love, laugh and cry too much, they can never have enough money. We are the victims of their excesses, not ours. It seems we are stuck with them because if it isn't them doing this, it'd be the fucking Chinese. Whatta ya gone do?
