Production Values (on the Cheap)

 I don't want anybody to feel sorry for Trump. That's not my intent here. If he was your grandfather babbling incoherently, pooping in his pants and being taken advantage of by foreigners, we would have sympathy. However, we can't have sympathy for Trump. He's a documented asshole. Has been all his life. The really odd thing is, he might not be steadily slipping into senility or dementia. He may just be expanding his assholery. No one can tell. 

In his first term, he had smart people who could and would check him. He was an asshole then, wanting to nuke hurricanes and California, but he had people to tell him "No, sir, you can't do that". Now, quite likely those people actually told him, "No, sir, you can't do that- that's 2nd term shit". Temporarily at least, their hearts were in the right place. 

Trump is an asshole of epic proportions- like nobody has ever seen before- and there is absolutely no one around him to check him. We can all see that. His cabinet looks like Central Casting for the worst show ever, like somebody really wants the show to fail. I think that was the plot of "The Producers", a Mel Brooks film. I'm really expecting "Springtime for Trump" to be the opening show at the "Melania Center"- formerly "The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts". I don't want to give them any ideas though.

So, who is in the background, not checking Trump? We hear a few billionaires' named drop from time to time. Thiel. Mercer. Of course, Musk. Surely there are others who keep lower profiles. There's some big money in the Cabinet, but the real money is behind the scenes. No, they aren't financing the destruction of the greatest democracy the world will ever see. They are just the guys set to profit from this. They might have spent a few bucks making sure he finally got that second term for them, but what's money to them? Everything and nothing. They aren't propping up a loser regime; they are kicking back while the wealthiest country in world history goes massively into debt with the country's money. 

They got just the right guy to get 'er done. Donald J. Trump is a perfect storm of fuckery. He's the ultimate patsy. He has no idea of this. He believes that he is King. He believes no one can stop him. He believes it truly is all about him.

I'll imagine they give him some guidance. You guide a guy like Trump by getting him to do what you want, by the right person telling him that it's his idea. Yeah, he's that stupid. Essentially, I think they are just letting Trump be Trump now because you just know that a guy with six bankruptcies is going to fuck up. Everything about the guy screams arrogant stupidity. He's a turnkey operation of ignorance. Easy peasey.  

What do the billionaires get out of this? Money, of course. They get to buy America for pennies on the dollar. It might really be that simple. Oh, some have grandiose ideas of building a new America in their own image, running it as a business, I suppose. Whatever their exact plans are, I don't know. Maybe slavery and a Christian, warrior nation. I mean- they've got to figure that their scheme mightcould leave the US quite vulnerable to the other predator nations in the world. Maybe if the US fails, the others fall like dominoes? It all seems so stupid. You purge all the smart guys who know how to get things done- well, you can't eat money. And I don't think Mars will be open for business anytime soon. 

So, yeah, don't feel sorry for Donald J. Trump. He's Lee Harvey Oswald with golf courses. This right now is as good as it gets for him. He thinks he's King, but he's just stoking the fire for the real money. He has no clue.
