Life in the Slow Lane
Got into a little kerfuffle with a woman on Bluesky today. Not much of one as my Ferrer senses tingled and I figured on bailing early as she seemed pretty hostile in her assessment of the young ladies pictured above. I do the same with maga more often these days, because you're never going to straighten those people out. So, I kind of knew I shouldn't have bothered, but it bugged me that in her estimation these girls were 'too skinny' and it was a disturbing trend... brought to you by...Mr. Man. It would turn out that I was a Mr. Man too. I've certainly been called worse.
However today I achieved Mr. Manhood by offering that every body is different and these young girls, being young girls, looked like young girls to me. They look like teens to me, and teens come in all shapes and sizes. With the exception of the first girl pictured, I don't think anyone pictured was starving themselves to please Mr. Mankind. To me they looked healthy and happy. Normal. I guess I should not have said that.
I wasn't wrong about her spoiling for a fight. Anytime someone responds to you with two posts, you know war has been declared. She had somehow bolstered her argument with the current clip of a post that Pete Hegseth liked about the crazy white Christian males whose wives cheerfully serve as second class citizens. What that has to do with teen girls being 'too skinny' was above my posting grade. I muted and bailed. Pick a lane lady!
There are crazy people on Bluesky too. Maga loves to change lanes like that. I was going by the photos and not judging the models on their diet or their religious views which were not apparent in the photo. That was my lane. The slow lane maybe, but I was doing the limit and I'm glad I got off at the first exit.
Yeah, sometimes not worth the fight.
