Human Up!
Some of the worst women I know are men.
A random woman on Bluesky made one of those "GO TEAM GIRLS!!" posts that show up probably daily on social media that pander to our better or worse, tribal angels, in the quest for likes. You know the posts that people make that are proclamations that, if reversed would be deemed misogynist or racist: "Women are better than men!" "Blacks are better than whites!" "Right Twix is better than Left Twix!" Real throwaway posts to me, but people like them. You get to pick a side or go over to the other side if you choose to be more enlightened.
I reminded this woman that Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi are women. Kind of a gotcha, I think. Check and mate! CASE CLOSED.
I wasn't going to get a fight out of that chick, and I suspect my point fell on deaf eyes. That's fine, that's social media, you are under no obligation to engage anyone simply because they posted to you. I've got to remember that...
However here, I am required- by law- to have my way with bullshit whenever I see it. I took an oath as a Ferrerman, you know, to defend this blog from all enemies- foreign AND domestic, and to write wrongs and wrong rights whenever I see them and to be ferr, whenever possible. So, here goes:
Ladies, you do not want to be men. It's a bad look on women. A lot of men can't really pull it off either. We're not talking sartorially here, but rather attitude and mindset. Noem and Bondi, whatever happened to them in life that made them so heartless and cruel, it seems they both opted to man up rather than woman up. Bad call, ladies, you both went for the Dallas Winston "You get tough, like me- and you don't get hurt!" version of manhood. That's not good. Likely, both are pandering to Trump, playing to him to show him that they are as tough as he is. There's a low bar...
Two women that I absolutely do admire are Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris. Both women lost the presidency to Trump, under curious circumstances. Both would clearly be better at presidenting than Trump. That's not open to debate, so don't even try. See, it's not because they are good women. It is because they are good human beings. If you are paying attention, that is really what it is all about. Your genitalia may define you, it doesn't explain you. You have to explain yourself in life. Allow me to ferrermansplain.
I can't say that I love all women any more than I can say I love all men. I've known too many of both to say that. I've been married twice- to women, for the record- and they turned out to be horrible humans. That did not dissuade me from women. It certainly did not lead me to marrying my own kind either. It just made me resolve to do better. I haven't, but story for another day. I have a lot of female friends online. They may or may not have spankable bottoms- I don't know. Believe it or not, that's not the criteria, even for a Ferrerman. I think I get a better read than most by what people say and how they say it online. Nothing is infallible, but I think I picked a few winners. Good human beings. That's what counts! THAT is what I'm trying to say! You needn't man up or woman up- just human up. We're all in this together. The struggle isn't man v. woman, black v. white; it's good v. evil. It always had been. It's the only battle worth fighting, and you only need to show up and to be yourself to win it. Well, and be good at it. At least try...
I just saw a post blaming white people for the woes of our country. I could have left a comment stating a lot of black Americans stayed home November 5th so stfu. I moved on. I know I shouldn't engage but I do and that's one thing I admire about you. You don't let people off the hook when they say really stupid shit.
