The Winds of Civil War

Learned a new term in the sphere of American, political assholery last night: "accelerationist". Essentially, these are cells of people who want to watch the world burn so that they can take over on downs after it is destroyed in a massive civil war. They will do things to accelerate that like assassination, bombings, disruptions of power grids and poisoning of water supplies, in the hopes that various groups of people will blame others for these events, and react accordingly against whomever they suspect. It seems to be pretty much like Charles Manson's goal of inspiring a race war via the Tate/Lobianco murders, only they are crazier and far less showy. To me it sounds like Trump and maga really, but it's not an ideology that subscribes to any political party at all. It's more anarchy than anything else in that they hate any dang gubmint you got.

I happened upon this as I viewed on YouTube a clip in an interview with a former FBI undercover agent, Scott Payne.  This ol' boy- and he IS an ol' boy- is about the most honest and down-to-earth superhero you will ever see on the YT. He is the real deal. Retired now, he spent 20+ years in the FBI infiltrating criminal organizations like the Outlaws motorcycle gang and various white supremacist groups, including accelerationists. He looks and sounds the part, especially that of an outlaw biker, as he is burly, tatted up and has a southern accent. He walks and talks the walk of dangerous criminality. Yet, he is a trained FBI agent. He sounds like half the guys I worked with in Tennessee and I seriously had to wonder if I ever met him down there. Of course, I did not, as I was not around any big-time crime, just little shits that would not be of import to him or the FBI. I tell ya though, I'd have a beer with the guy anytime. Good dude. Honest, dedicated, gifted with that jovial, southern charm and evidently quite good at blending in with the underworld.

The segment I saw last night happened to coincide with an event in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, where some miscreant started a forest fire and then began shooting at the firemen as they came to fight the fire. Who would do a thing like that? Well, I think I know... It's too early for the authorities to be saying, but the perpetrator is dead and that part of the crisis seems to be over. Well, for now at least.

He infiltrated accelerationists, I think around the beginning of Covid, and worked them for seven months until the FBI had enough evidence to prosecute. I didn't get that whole story in that clip, but I have seen enough about Payne so far to know that he knows what he is doing and how to do it in accordance with the FBI and the law. Whether it's the mob, an MC or these terrorists, the goal is to get the guys on tape talking about their crimes. Payne is well-versed on avoiding entrapment in these big-time cases. He doesn't set people up; he lets them set themselves up. There's a bigly difference between asking someone if they want to buy some dope and them asking you to sell some to them. That all comes out in court if you do your job right, and in many cases, they never even get to trial because he and his team have done their jobs so well that the criminals plead for the best deals they can get. That is good policework. It's the major Leagues compared to jackleg cops all over the country who basically pull people over for a traffic stop and then try to build a felony out of that. "Come on man, what's it going to take to get you in the back of my squad car?? I'm trying to make sergeant!"

Accelerationists are made up of right and left-wingers, pagans and satanists. They are all white and believe the white race should rule over all white people. They are actually world-wide, but this is America, and it appears we lead the league in this sort of assholery too. Like maga, they too want to thin the herd of undesirables and repopulate via death and rape. Some were caught on tape saying they would kill their own parents if they refused to go along with their fascist ways. And as far as rape would go, absolutely any woman would be subjected to them. I think Payne actually said to them: "You fellas don't really know women, do you? You do know you have to go to sleep at some point, right?" I love him for that, because it's so true.

How dangerous are these people with their grandiose, Manson-esque plans for taking over the world? I think the answer is "very". They won't succeed, of course, but people will die in their trying. It is the thought that counts, especially when and if those thoughts lead to actual violent encounters. I don't think their guerrilla war plans will lead to civil war, but with Trump in the White House they've got a chance to be in the wind of a perfect storm of fuckery. Ironic that they have the same vision for America.

  1. Yikes. Another nightmare I wasn't aware of until now. F-ing crazy. I normally don't go to these tough guy videos even the good ones, but I'll take a look. Maybe. Not sure how much my sensitive self can take.

  2. I watch a lot of those tough guy videos and they're kinda sketchy at times. It depends on the guy and if he's just relating a story or embellishing for fun and profit. All these podcasts! They're interviewing guys who have been in prison, mobsters, Special Forces etc. and the stories are insane, but it's not like anybody is fact-checking too hard.
