ONLY in America.
Guy made an interesting observation on the Bluesky today. No other country in the world is trying to emulate our maga system. Wonder why that is. After WWII we were THE leading exporter of democracy. Russia and China couldn't do that. It was all us. Now, we have- arguably- THE greatest leader ever in the history of the world- you know who that is- yet I guess it must be obvious to the other 192 countries in the world that they can't possibly pull it off. They don't have Donald Trump! Only in America...
Canada sorta tried, but they just didn't have it in their hearts to be great again. Such nice, unassuming people. Of course, they didn't have Trump. He graciously offered them himself- in a roundaboot way- by offering statehood to them. They're happy being Canada, God love 'em, eh.
It's just odd that no other country wants to be this version of America. They must be stupid.
I know we are. We don't want this shit either. We *may* have voted for it by an actually slim margin, but we may not have. We'll never know. I promise you that. If you know America at all, facts mean nothing because we do our own research. That's why we don't need scientists anymore. We are free to work things out on our own unencumbered by education. Can you believe that other countries don't have that freedom and don't even want it?? We don't take no shit from no scientists and weathermen, not no more!
I don't know how this country fell for Trump. Well, I probably do, but it makes me sick to think about it. We're being ruled- and overruled- by a demented old fuck who makes your average Facebook commentator look smrt. I don't know what we did to deserve this, but we do deserve this. Not me and maybe not you, but 77 million dumfvcks who believe democracy is mob rule deserve it. "Mob rule" Oh, the irony of that ridiculous sentiment! Now we have a mobster in the White House. Now, we have mob rule, and the *rival mob* are democrats who still think the old rules apply. And our capo di tuti capo bankrupted casinos before he took over this territory.
Oh, yeah, this'll end well.
Sadly, I don't think the voting was rigged, but I know nothing. We have a local weatherman who was Canadian become an American citizen a few years back. I always wonder if he regrets that decision.
