Lagniappe Pope

 Maga is mad about the new Pope for reasons. A lot of ridiculous reasons, I suppose, because they simply do not have good reasons for anything they do. They complain that he's a "lefty", but wasn't Jesus H. Christ kinda a lefty too? Maybe the original lefty, what with his espousing of loving thy neighbor, welcoming foreigners, feeding the hungry, and just being generally nice to people. That was New Testament Jewish Jesus but they kept those attributes when they converted him to *his* new religion, several generations later, after he died. (You know who else converts post-mortem?  The Mormons. They got caught baptizing Holocaust victims several years ago. I think Mormons like to pad the rolls) Christ died a Jew, for God's sake, but they back-tombed him into an entirely new religion. That's just wrong. I just wonder if he goes to a Chinese restaurant on his birthday. 

I'm not Catholic. Maybe it shows. But this Pope seems like a good guy. I can't even beef that he's a White Sox fan. A lot of White Sox fans are human beings. My friend in New Orleans told me his ancestors had roots there. She told me his maternal grandparents were Creole, according to a family historian. That's pretty cool- first American Pope and he's got Creole blood. Maga's not gonna like that...

But like I said, they don't like anything good. Eh, they're all going to Hell. Maybe the Mormons can save them.
