Abandon All Hope, Ye who Enter Here

Could you have ever fathomed an America so rife with gangster capitalism and led by THE stupidest motherfucker imaginable, falling apart so fast? Of course not. No one saw this coming, save for the scumbags who made it happen, and even they must have been winging it, amazed at their success. I'm not going to give anyone- least of all, Trump- props for pulling this off. He's not laughing all the way to the offshore bank, pretending to be an idiot. He's not pretending. He's an idiot.

Been saying for years that he's a perfect storm of idiocy, the only republican who could pull this off, ever. If Trump was given any marching orders by his handlers at all, surely it was, "Just be yourself. People like that shit!". Oh, he could do that! Tell him he is great and he will believe it. He is a delusional narcissist and always has been. He thinks, therefore he is. Someone is always right there to affirm his brilliant greatness. I don't know who that person is, and perhaps it is a team guiding him, but it's not him. Left to his own high-roller business devices, he'll sell shoes, steaks and designer water. Yes, he sells these trinkets and many more, but that is because such low-rent schemes are his ideas for success and his handlers encourage him in these endeavors, because that's what you do with addled children to move them along in life. You indulge. His father knew that and he, as a father of sorts, might have a notion of that himself with his own kids. Family values.

The facts are all out there. A lot of money went through his smallish hands. A lot of *millionaires* live that way. There's always the necessary illusion of wealth to impress people and banks to give you more. A bank is really concerned with what's in it for them when you default. It's a game. One they often win even when they lose. After all, it's not their money. The concept of wealth on paper is ridiculous, but real. Musk is a trillionaire? OK. I'm not even going to try to make sense of money beyond the George Bailey speech in "It's A Wonderful Life" where George explains to the Building & Loan Association depositors that 'the money isn't here; it's in your house and your house...' The money is everywhere but the vault. I get that much of it. Well, I think... Suffice to say, money is an illusion. The uber wealthy know how to make it happen. Trump is an idiot, but he lived that way for decades despite fucking up and declaring bankruptcy six times. How do you explain six bankruptcies? Oh, it's a 'strategic business move'. Oh yeah, he's the self-professed, "King of Debt!" The movers and shakers in Appalachia can readily see that.

Now, about those trailer park loyalists. They were bigly help in getting him elected. They made it look official. But not anymore, at least not beyond the midterms, and that's win or lose. He told them some time ago that they wouldn't have to worry about voting anymore. That was a bold hint about him taking over the country once and for all. This excited his base. They would have him for forever! It would be Heaven on earth. They never considered that he would then no longer need them at all, at least for voting purposes. And then what? What do they bring to the table without votes? Not a fucking thing. Many are finding out the hard way that his chaotic policies do affect them. How about that! The price of everything goes way up, but their income stagnates. The on again/off again, bullshit war in Iran has done nothing to inspire ardent patriotism and sacrifice as wars are supposed to do. You might even wonder if it is really even happening. Maybe even it's made up, just to again own the libs? Owning libs is a great thing to do in 2026. Sometimes the illusion of that ownership is all these dumbfucks have. That can't last forever. It does nothing towards paying the bills. How much more can they take when they have less and less to give?

It is incredible how cheap rich people can be. They are the poster children for "pennywise and pound foolish". They demand the free stuff in life, certain that they deserve it yet, they also spend like drunken sailors. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money- if you are sure that spending will bring more. Honestly, your average rich guy is as stupid as your average poor guy seems to be. They gamble- generally on sure-thing real estate deals and the like. They gamble and fail, but often enough fail upwards and usually have more money to work with than most even with failure. They buy lottery tickets! Yeah. You may know someone you consider having made it in life, and they are buying scratch offs and Powerball tickets. That's the greed of never having enough and always desiring more. After all, it can happen to you; why not them?

In construction and in the restaurant/bar business, I witnessed a lot of success and failure. I never met anybody legitimately smart though. Most got off to a good start via daddy (like Trump did) but after that it was all about faking it 'til you make it. Lines of credit allow for the front of wealth which attracts more money, and ego and abrasiveness fills in the blanks, moving things along.

The whole idea of this "Businessman's Coup 2.0: The Final Chapter" seems to be the egotesticle <sic.> jerkoff fantasy of the already filthy rich to obtain the world domination they think is rightfully theirs. And not be punished with taxes. That's it.

There is lip service to a Christian nation and a Christian world to serve the Lord, but I doubt they are sincere about that beyond that being the time-honored tradition of maintaining control over the masses. Come on now: When was the last time anyone saw or heard God or Jesus, anywhere near the modern world? God is like the existence of extraterrestrials. If we knew for sure they were out there, people would panic! If people knew for sure God wasn't, people would panic. It's best to just keep people guessing. Got to maintain control.

So, what does this dystrumpian future hold for us and Trump's billionaire overlords who have orchestrated this without the ability to carry a tune- just numbers? Fuckery, nothing but fuckery. What else could there be? These stupid assholes haven't thought a damn thing through. How does the world work when a small group has ALL of the money and power and the masses have nothing? Jesus Fucking Christ- who do you sell things to?? Who feeds them? Who buries the millions of dead and keeps the stench from fouling their planet? These fucking assholes are going to fail, and us along with them. I'm glad to be oldish and I probably won't find out. The bulk of my life has been lived under the realm of more pedestrian fuckery, practiced on a smaller scale. We really had it good there for a time, didn't we? Not anymore. Not enough money in it.
