Why the Ballroom Blitz? I'm Glad You Asked!

Probably the only person who believes Trump will live to enjoy his ballroom, is Trump himself. I don't think we need to argue about how deluded he is about himself. He buys into all the memes about his Rambo-ness and quite likely sees himself as the muscled, chiseled hunk those in his creative circle jerk like to portray him as. That's a given. Slightly more rational people must look at that lump of rotting flesh and smell what The Trump is cooking. He's an old man who falls asleep at cabinet meetings in the middle of the day. Not once, but nearly every damn time. We have to consider the bigger picture of the ballroom bunker and other crazy endeavors they have in store. Who are they really for?

There is the Devil you know, and the Devil you don't know. Like, if you kill a mob boss; what if the guy who takes over is worse? Murder tends to be punishment more than change. It affects change for sure, but only temporarily. Criminal organizations tend to go on, barely skipping a beat, while someone else takes the reins. 

The thing with Trump is that he's such a populist demagogue that he's really irreplaceable. The republicans and the Mainstream Media like him. They don't really like Maga or JD Vance, Marco or Musk. The republicans definitely have a deep bench of crazy, but there is absolutely no one on the bench or in the farm system who can step in for Trump when he kicks. He's one of a kind. 

Aware as they must be of his mortality and the fact that it could happen any cabinet meeting now, they have been preparing in their own way for his demise. I like to joke that he will be the first Ai president, serving in perpetuity long after his death. Couldn't you see the USSC signing off on this? They will just feed his old tweets into the Ai machine, and it will spew out his nonsense just as if he were still alive, with misspellings and random capitalizations and all that glorious trumpiness. To an extent they might be doing that now. He certainly lends himself to imitation! Often imitated, never duplicated. Therein lies the rub.

The best they can do with him is to go for martyrdom. Thus; the bunker ballroom, the arch, the reflecting pool, the gold-leafed horsies, the (now defunct) "Trump Kennedy Center" and all the other shit they are hurrying through right now. All this needs to be in place for his death so that he's never out of the people's minds. The problem with this, is that it will (at least technically) be President JD Vance endeavoring to continue the Trump Reich. Nobody fucking likes him. Certainly, the two most important entities (the Maga and the MSM) don't like him and they will find it very hard to pretend to do so. It's going to be a tough sell. The world will quickly tire of Vance saying, "This is what Donald J. Trump would have wanted..." Same with Mike Johnson declaring (after Trump's demise) that, "Donald spoke to me last night, and he wants..."

That shit's not gonna fly. They will try this, but without Fat Nixon Elvis on the actual scene with his phonebooth dancing, the public will very quickly lose interest. They will lose acceptance of any successor to his throne. Say what you will- and it is all true- but Trump is irreplicable as Trump. They created a monster that cannot be duplicated. Maga, MSM will accept no substitutes. NO ONE could be so perfect at being so fucking awful as a president and a human being as The Real Donald Trump. Their days are as numbered as his. They must know this in some fashion. The only way they go on, however he passes while in office, would be via violent coup. A serious one this time, for all the marbles. Obviously, there is no going back to *normal* democracy with fair elections and hopes that Chuck Schumer will think of mending fences instead of building gallows after Trump kicks. They are in it to win it for forever. Trump was just the only guy who could get them in place to mount this coup. They have known all along that once he was gone, violent authoritarianism is the only way to retain power. Vance or Rubio do not get them close enough to cheat in a post-Trump general election. Plus, everyone knows that when there's blood in the streets, it's a good time to buy real estate. 

And that, folks, is why they need a bunker ballroom.

Molehills On the Battlefield

An odd exchange with a follower earlier. To another poster I added to his complaint about the recent trend of side-by-side reaction videos They are dumb and pretty much unnecessary. My addition was that I didn't like the ones where someone is telling a joke, and on the other side of the screen is a clip of someone laughing outrageously. Why? And perhaps worse, the split screen is used to tell a story, and the other side is some inexplicable B-roll of some unrelated product being made. Again- why? Are these first world problems? Yes. Her Soft Underbelly Exposed

One of the better interviewers you'll see on YouTube is Mark Laita of the "Soft, White Underbelly" channel. It's my understanding he is primarily a photographer whose interest has always been photographing the unseen segments of society- the street people, prostitutes, criminals and kinda freaks of life, that we generally ignore. Maybe it's all in the editing, but his success seems to be in letting his subjects talk without too much prompting from him. It's their story.  This episode was with a porn star- Addison Vodka. Well, that's what she goes by. Though I have seen my share of porn, I'm not on a first or last name basis with most of these people. So, I fired up the Pornhub to see what she what she was like in action. She does a good job for a girl with such a schpankable bottom. No doubt. But she was an enlightening interview.
