I Don't Know That We Can Ride This Out
My first thought when I heard about The Rape Academy was, "How's their football team this year?"
Well, that's my first thought about any online school so, please don't be offended.
There is not much new under the sun in the year of our Trump 2026 though, so I didn't doubt it even though the first posts about it said that 62 million men were *enrolled* in this unnatural extension of Trump University and evidently that figure is actually the number of views the site has gotten. That is abhorrent in itself, but it represents a smaller number of fucking weirdos looking at it a whole bunch of times.
I assume this is some *dark web* shit but I don't really know. I'm not going to look it up! What I hear is that much of it is guys filming and talking about raping their own wives for the entertainment and bragging rights, with other like-minded scumbags. I can only assume there are some procedurals outlined for students as well. That is sickening. It's all sickening. It's illegal too, even if it is husband on wife, in the confines of marriage. We as a society outlawed martial rape in all 50 states by 1993. Prior to that, many states had a marital exemption for rape, usually if it was not a case involving legal separation. That meant that in many states, forcibly throwing one into your soon-to-be-ex was *legal* until the walking papers took effect. In 1978 in Oregon, John Rideout became the first man in the US to be charged with raping his wife. In 1977, Oregon had passed a law removing marriage or cohabitation as a legal defense for rape. In 1978 he was charged but acquitted by a jury of eight women and four men. This was in the confines of an otherwise intact marriage. In 1980 it became a made for TV movie, you older folks may recall, and caused much gnashing of teeth, all over the country.
So, no, you can't rape your wife whether you put it on the internet or not. These guys doing this online are filming their own crimes. That's not very smart.
I equate it to the dark web shit where you can learn to make a dirty bomb or learn how to kill someone without leaving evidence and then dispose of the body. As I understand, all that shit is out there, if you know where to look. I hope you don't.
A typical comment on the internet now from women is, "Now you know why we choose the bear". I get that even though it's a pretty stupid trope. I've been around women all my life. My mom and sisters were all women. It's a no-brainer to realize that it has always been a very dangerous world for women. This *academy* highlights how it's not getting any better except in the theory of laws passed that were a long-time in coming. However, as our Maga brethren conveniently exclaim, "NO LAW COULD PREVENT THIS..." Then they go out and pass laws to prevent things that barely happen, from happening. FUCK! I'm digressing again. I hate that! There oughta be a law...
It is an abomination that this academy exists even online. It really is the thought that counts here because those thoughts- and the deeds that they may bring- can change the world. And not for the better. This is that awful AMERICAN ACCEPTIONALISM that I've been writing about. How much more of this can we take? How much more can we normalize? The big tent of trumpism has already given us Trump himself, normalizing that a 34x convicted felon can be elevated to the position of most powerful leader in the world, even with those felonies and the very common knowledge that he raped children, his wife and other women. It's something different every fucking day here and there seems to be no good end in sight. It's very disheartening, but that's only if you have a heart and a soul. There's a lot less of that going around these days.
