A Revolution of Dunces

 Do you ever read some person's ramblings in the comments section of any internet site and think to yourself, "OMFG! This asshole could be President of the United States! He's a fucking idiot! This guy is as dumb as Trump!" The bar is set pretty low when you have millions of mental defectives who could step into the White House and continue doing The Lard's work without skipping a beat. The bar is damn near buried in the scorched earth of democracy and getting deeper every hour. There is absolutely no difference between Trump and random posters in thought, *policy* and communication skills. The entire cabinet- the whole regime- is made up of the same morons that you would find waxing pathetic on Twitter or your local paper's site. This is very disconcerting. 

It's not representative democracy as the nation has kinda-sorta strived for these past 250 years. But maybe it is? Perhaps it is over now, and we have gotten the government we deserve because we've not always been taking this country as seriously as we should. We, as a nation, have all too often rested on the laurels of our purported greatness, and now the inmates are running the asylum.

Only in America, could you take an imperfectly OK country like America, and decide it should be worse, that it needs to be torn down and rebuilt in order to save it in time for the bigly, 250-year anniversary. This ironic anniversary, by the way, will not bring remembrance of things past- at least not as history regards them- but rather, revisionist past, present and future. 

How is this going to work? Not well! 

Take a look at the recent regime change enacted in Venezuela. They snag the dictator of that country previously known for its shortstops and the crudest of all oil reserves, and though they had four-some months to prepare, have no clue as to the who and how of running the newly orphaned country. Trump came right out and said he wants the oil. This is transparency that the last republican president (Bush) who went to war for oil did not give. Still won't fess up to that even though everyfuckingbody knows. 

It is similar with the regime change here that took place almost one year ago, in that there is no evident method to the madness. Most all of the familiar rules have been changed. They are fucking making it up as they go along. The clock is ticking on Trump's mental and physical health, so if it seems like they are frantically stuffing 20 pounds of shit in a 5-pound bag, it's only because they are. When the music stops and the last chair of democracy has been pulled away, they have won the prize that no one else wants; the former United States of America. Who the fuck does this? Idiots.
