This Is No Socialist Crisis- Just Another Tricky Day for You

 What happened yesterday in (I believe) every election, was that the American people do not care to capitulate to Trump. Capitulation is for the media, half a dozen USSC 'justices', TV networks, and the rank and file of the feeble minded. It's not for you. It's not for me. It's not for US. Tired of winning yet? NO! 

Big victories. Two very smart, attractive women won their governor races; Mikie Sherril and Abigal Spanberger. Prop 50 won in California. Texas- you want to redistrict in an off-decade because your president told you to. Well, California can play that way as well. Is it silly and unnecessary? Of course it is. But these are silly and unnecessary times. You do what is necessary, what is made necessary, by unnecessary people like Trump. Perhaps the biggest win though, was Zohran Mamdani for NYC mayor. 

This was huge. It was a big fuck you from the people to both parties. People like to say both parties are the same. They are not. The one thing they do have in common is that both are fucked up. Mainstream democrats like Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies didn't back Mamdani. I guess they are ultimately glad he won because it's a "W", but I suspect they were hoping he'd lose. Those two dumbfucks are still playing politics as if it was pre-Trump. They figured Cuomo would be that guy too. They could deal with him more easily than Mamdani, and Cuomo would deal with Trump in that old-school, give and take manner. Well, Trump doesn't give, he takes. They haven't picked up on that. 

We, the people, have. It's pretty fucking crystal clear to you, me and many people under the Bluesky, but Hakeem and Chuck are no different than the common folk maga we make fun of. "How can they believe that?" we say, day in, day out. Well, it's either because they want to believe that, or they are stupid. It's often both. You, me, they, them, us- all the pronouns- like to believe that everybody thinks and believes as we do and, if they don't, they should. That's human nature. Sometimes people are stupid for a purpose. That's the Trump regime. But it's also democrats. 

Just one example. Republicans say the government is shut down because democrats want to give free healthcare to 'illegals'. That's stupid. How can anyone believe that? We all know it's shut down to keep the new Arizona congresswoman from being seated and being the deciding vote on releasing the Epstein files. That's it! But that is being stupid for a purpose, no matter how stupid that purpose may be. 

We don't have to do that anymore whether we started to or not. I don't know if Mamdani will be a good mayor or not. I know they are going to fuck with him. As a Muslim and a democratic socialist, he's a target rich environment for the likes of the Trump cartel. He can roll with it, I think. He may, in time, get more support from democrats. He may make the busses free or he may not. We'll see. The important thing is that the people have spoken, and it was in a language that we still understand and want to make clear to everyone else- especially the 'leaders'. And that is, "We are fucking tired of this bullshit and you better get with our program".

Molehills On the Battlefield

An odd exchange with a follower earlier. To another poster I added to his complaint about the recent trend of side-by-side reaction videos They are dumb and pretty much unnecessary. My addition was that I didn't like the ones where someone is telling a joke, and on the other side of the screen is a clip of someone laughing outrageously. Why? And perhaps worse, the split screen is used to tell a story, and the other side is some inexplicable B-roll of some unrelated product being made. Again- why? Are these first world problems? Yes. But I wasn't crying or praying to Trump that these 'creators' be deported to a Sudanese prison. I was just kinda bitching. Is that wrong? To one follower, it was! Her Soft Underbelly Exposed

One of the better interviewers you'll see on YouTube is Mark Laita of the "Soft, White Underbelly" channel. It's my understanding he is primarily a photographer whose interest has always been photographing the unseen segments of society- the street people, prostitutes, criminals and kinda freaks of life, that we generally ignore. Maybe it's all in the editing, but his success seems to be in letting his subjects talk without too much prompting from him. It's their story.  This episode was with a porn star- Addison Vodka. Well, that's what she goes by. Though I have seen my share of porn, I'm not on a first or last name basis with most of these people.
