The Plight of Legacy Americans
Heard the term "Legacy Americans" this morning. I wasn't confused by it because it was Tucker Carlson talking about it on one of those "REELS" that Facebook and YouTube do. You could hear "Legacy American" and think it's a too cute, passive aggressive, politically incorrect term for American Indians, but not if Tucker is using it. He means white people.
That fvckin' guy was explaining to a podcast host that Joe Biden was a technofascist leading a cabal of advisors who were trying to destroy the United States because they hate white people, especially those whose ancestors were here in the time of The Civil War. Look at how they are against white supremacy, he said.
He was quite sober and serious about this, not even once giggling like a schoolgirl as he is wont to do.
How are they doing this? Well, drug overdoses, suicides and diabetes. I bet he's elaborated elsewhere, but not on this REEL.
Holy Moley. A plot by white people to eliminate white people- the white people who made this country what it is today. Gee, Wally, does that even make sense? No, Beav, it doesn't.
I don't know how fresh this was. Biden was POTUS just 60 some days ago. He's still getting blamed for every stupid thing Trump does now. Maga still clutches pearls and sighs that, Thank Trump- the carnage of the Biden (THE worst president in the country's history) administration is over! Whew! We are now free to pay as much as we can for eggs and not get vaccinated for anything.
We've been hearing for decades that, by some point in the 21st century, that white folks would become the minority. Sometimes this was analytical numbers-crunching, but most times it was a scare tactic. This would happen because of black people and immigration. You know that when people say that their ancestors came over here "the right way" that they mean, not as slaves packed like sardines in the bowels of a ship. The "right way" was being reasonably white, European, and showing up at Ellis Island and not having tuberculosis. It was that easy. It's harder now.
Tucker probably really believes this, but more importantly, he wants white people to definitely believe this. Most everything republicans say is a projection of what they intend to do. This nonsense from him is meant to explain what Trump is doing now and that it is the ol' turnabout is fair play deal that works so well on the playground when you are eight. And the more Biblical, "Do unto others because they were going to do that to you!"
He ended up by saying that the point of a system is its effect. Whatever you claim your motive is, is irrelevant (to him) because if you keep doing it, that IS your motive. You keep doing it and that proves that!
He just described Trump and Project 2025, is what he did. Just yesterday the Pentagon backtracked on the whitewashing of Jackie Robinson's military service. The DEI purge had inadvertently erased his activity. Oops. Sorry. He was famous. But they didn't backtrack on the erased notations of all the other black, brown and female service members who have been in military service to the US for several decades. You probably already heard about "The Enola Gay" getting bounced because of the "gay". Ridiculous.
"When someone shows you who they are, believe them". I think that was said by June Cleaver in Season 1, Episode 7 of "Leave It to Beaver; The History of White People In America".
