Fear and Loathing of Women as Policy

As a penis-bearing member of this human race, I find it very disconcerting that republicans in general and this regime in particular, hate women so much. I just don't get it. I'll go out on a limb here (and trust me; I have my own saw, so I don't need any help) but I really don't see much difference between the sexes beyond the obvious physical stuff. I noted the other day that it is our brains that define us, regardless of race, gender, color, creed- whatever. There isn't really a woman's or man's mindset. There is a right and wrong mindset, and it is an equal opportunity employer. 

Well, nobody wants to hear that. This is America- pick a fucking side!

Well, again, I can't. And I won't! And you can't fucking make me. 

There was a post this AM on BS about Trump assembling a panel of 30 men to discuss women's maternity care. I'd link it, but for whatever reason, the link went to a 404 Error, so I can't. But if you have a functioning brain, you get the gist of what's wrong from the headline. That's how most people internet, I think, judging from the comments on any story about anything. Bots do the headlines to direct commenters for this very reason. Rounding up 30 men to consider maternity is kinda one-sided, even if they are all obstetricians. I rather doubt they were, (probably donors) but why not at least a handful of female doctors? Couldn't they find any? I don't think they were even looking. I just don't think they like or respect women, nor value their input.

That seems to be the policy in this regime. They have or have had women in the cabinet and below that level since they began their war on America, January 20, 2025. A few of them are gone already, but all the fellas remain. It kinda seems like the women were hired to get fired. In a regime like this one, where NOBODY (including the boss) is qualified to head anything, it's pretty disingenuous to try and say, "Oh, we tried. She just didn't work out". That may well have been by design because none of these shitheels are working out, but the fellas still remain in place. 

I've worked with men and women all my life. I'm generally comfortable hanging with the boys or girls whether it be at work or play. If you think men get together and talk graphically about women, you are correct. If you think women don't, you are very wrong. I've been around women who could make me <blush!> talking about their men. Oh, yeah. And I grew up with four sisters. They knew that they could run us brothers off by suddenly talking about their periods. Not very mature, but effective. And in conversations with the guys, I just figured they were liars. Women, I've been told by women, lie and exaggerate as well. They also want to impress via bragging. See: we are more alike than we know!

The person who knows me best in this world (aside from possibly me) is a woman I've been friends with on the internet for 17 years now. "H" is one of those friends you can talk about anything with, from politics to baseball and all things in between. She knows that life is about right and wrong and knowing the difference. That's the key to everything. It really is that simple and, of course, that complicated. Knowing right from wrong here in 2026 isn't the highly prized knowledge that it should be. Politics proves that every damn day. 

The boys in this regime fear women, probably for a myriad of reasons. Likely rejection is the number one reason. Honestly, you can look at some sad sack looking guy and figure he's known a lot of rejection in his time. I'm old and fairly decrepit now, but BITD when I was as young and pretty as I used to like to think I was, I got rejected by women- a lot! Perhaps those stupid bitches weren't aware that I was a Ferrerman? 🤷 I don't know. It hurts for a bit, as I recall. NO ONE likes rejection. Women don't like it either, though arguably, they do the bulk of rejecting. Some are like Alex Forrest in "Fatal Attraction", but others just write you off as gay or undeserving anyway if you're not interested in them. I look at rejection as the blessing in disguise it usually is. Come on now; if somebody doesn't want you in that way, they probably don't really want you as a friend either. That goes for boys or girls. 

This regime with their confused Christian values, just don't seem to want to either respect or romance women. The adage about keeping them barefoot and pregnant comes to mind. That attitude doesn't allow for much in the way of courtin' and sparkin'. I generally want folks to live their best lives and if they find a woman agreeable to that setup, good that you two met- I guess... My beef is when you want to impose that on my world because you believe that your imaginary friend in the sky wants it to be so. Please leave your delusions at home. Forcing Trumpian or religious delusions on the rest of us is why this world- and this country in particular- are in so much trouble. We are supposed to be better than this, but we really never have been. The thing that made America *great* was that we always previously knew that we could get better. We don't know that anymore and are resigned to getting worse. That is American Acceptionalism.
