On the Street Where You Live

 "No Kings" rallies/protests come in all sizes these days. In my smallish, Illinois town they are pretty well attended, numbering in the hundreds, and they are festive and well behaved. Other towns in this general area of northern Illinois have them too, but the numbers might be in the dozens instead. Well, that figures. Chicago can draw tens of thousands because there are several million people to draw from. It's pretty basic math. Maga can't grasp it though. You know how maga is. If you are maga you are either stupid with no purpose, or you are stupid with a purpose. Some are both. Still stupid though. Regardless of crowd size, maga mocks the attendance figures. They wonder why anyone would protest Trump in the first place, and they giggle when only twenty or so show up to do it in Podunkville, Illinois. And the sentiment of "No Kings" is ridiculous to them because, "This country has never HAD kings and, if Trump were one. you wouldn't be allowed to protest! DUH!"

Well, they miss the point, either out of stupidity, or out of purpose. Regardless, the point is, the point is missed by them, early and often.

I am very proud of my fellow citizens who get the point. Illinois may only be a blue state because of Chicago, but there are right-thinking democratic minds at work all over the state. The protests and the comment sections on Facebook show this. Comment sections anywhere might be fucking swamps fed by sewers, but they really do serve as a modern public square of old. It's where you find out that there really are people out there who think like you do! You are not alone! It helps.

Unless you count Trump rallies, maga doesn't really protest. OK, there was J6 in 2021, but they kinda went all out in blowing their wad on that dumb fuckery and really haven't done much since. In their feeble minds they fancy themselves as members of the ruling class now. They don't need to protest because they got what they wanted, and that is Trump. I suppose it was all worth it. 

I've been thinking though, if they love Trump so much, why are they not showing it by taking to the streets and parks in counter protest to the libs and their "No Kings" nonsense? Surely there are more patriotic maga than there are communist-fascist-socialist-abortion loving-scumbag libs. Why not show it? I don't mean in the violent ways of Hitler's Brown Shirts in the 1930's (though they threaten that) but in the numbers too big to ignore manner of the resistance they mock. Are they not proud of their being collaborators? Or are they simply lazy? I think it's both again. I mean after all, Trump is the only president in the 250-year history of America to win a mandate from the people! I guess the others just *won*.  Also, they might be a little afraid of being on the wrong side of history, in front of their neighbors despite that mandate like nobody has ever seen before. Not everyone has their hearts deep into politics as they might proclaim. They may talk tough on the internet, but would they really shoot their neighbors like some say? In Nazi Germany, some Germans did turn in their neighbors who were undesirables to the state at the time. They did this to curry favor with Hitler's growing regime, but they also did this to covet their neighbor's possessions. Turn in the Goldberg family and then, well, they won't be needing their nice furniture and silverware anymore, will they? They will get new necessities at the reeducation camp they are off to, right?

Oh, we don't for certain know that history will repeat itself like Germany, but you cannot Not See it from here if you are paying attention and reading between the lines. Trump is a documented idiot and so is every member of his cabinet. When he succumbs to his diet of Adderall and "fish delight" sandwiches washed down with Big Macs and Diet Cokes, JD Vance will become less palatable that that Trump dinner menu. He's not at all popular now as it is. And the cabinet will "Night of the Long Knives" themselves in their own quests for more power. Imagine all these people, already overmatched in their positions, wanting to have more power! Once Trump's feral magnetism (maganetism?) is gone, who will lead the band of the unwashed maga in America's disheartened land? I really don't see anybody stepping into his lifted shoes, do you? 

We still in danger, gurl! Make no mistake about that. The Epstein class is still all in on being in it to win it. They fear the guillotine of revolution though. Things will get worse quicker as their desperation (already amped given his fragile age and health) accelerates by urgency. But it will be a good thing when the ugly head of the "Don't Tread on Me" snake is cutoff. While maga is at home mocking, we are already in the streets. Whose streets? OUR STREETS! Motherfuckers.
